MKUD
Aleksandar Makedonski III was established
in 1995 by Vele Matovski, Kole
Petrevski and Mitre Tasevski with a
small number of Macedonian folk
dancers. Over the years the number of
dancers has increased to 40 children,
ranging in ages between 5 to 15 years
old.
The
groups choreographer is Mary
Grozdovska and she has been training
MKUD Aleksandar Makedonski III for the
last 8 years. MKUD Aleksandar
Makedonski III is split into three groups
and always welcomes new members.
MKUD
Aleksandar Makedonski III regularly
competes in Macedonian dancing
competitions, and also represents the
local community by participating in
the Werrama and Bayside Festivals.
The
group has many social outings,
including snow trips, fun parks, and
many other places. MKUD Aleksandar
Makedonski III regularly organises balls,
a yearly presentation ball, and
organises fundraising events
supporting the local Macedonian Church
St. Zlata Meglenska.
